About Rocklyn Stud
Vicky and Cameron Ashton started Rocklyn Miniature Hereford Stud in 2017 after falling in love with the breed. Located on Parrs Rd in Hurworth, New Plymouth, the Ashtons first bought a lifestyle block in 2012 with a dream of creating their own slice of rural life.

Vicky is a competitive equestrian rider and owns a fully set up riding facility. In addition to breeding minis for the lifestyle market, she breeds purebred Suffolk sheep. Their 24-acre property offers the perfect balance of rural seclusion while remaining just minutes from town.

All calves are registered with DNA processed before they are sold. Temperament is an important factor when breeding, and it is something Vicky prioritizes.
Vicky & Cameron Ashton
Vicky and Cameron have been married since 1997. Vicky has been selling real estate for over thirty years, specialising in residential and lifestyle properties throughout the Taranaki region. Cameron has been a respected and reputable builder for the past four decades; for much of the past twenty years he has led a construction team at Maidavale Rest Home, overseeing its expansion and development.
